Out With A Bang

It was the bottom of the 9th with one out in the trinity fall World Series. A senior named Kevin Jackson step up to the plate with the sweep on the line. We were up two games to none and one more to end the series.  Are hard work and dedication this off-season all led up to this one moment, this one chance to take home the victory.  He stepped into the batters box and swung at the first pitch. BOOM! The ball was well stuck climbing higher and higher towards the fence. Off the bat we all knew the ball was gone. He just hit a walk off homerun to win the series.

I couldn’t haver ask for a better way to end our baseball off season. I feel that through the month of October we grew as a team and are hungry for the season to start. The NCAA only allows us to practice as a team for sixteen times during the fall. Now since we have finished are fall practices we are on our own to become bigger, stronger, and healthier for the season in January. We have to report back to the baseball field January 9th to defend are conference champion tiled.
They say this year we have one of the biggest baseball squads they have ever had but also tons of talent. Saying this they will be making cuts for the spring season. Which puts more pressure on us to dedicate are time and effort to be the best baseball player on the field. The off-season was a great first impression opportunity but now we have to back up are skills and bring them to the spring season. Let the Games begin
